The first part of the essay will require some thoughts or observations, which the student should be able to relate to an event in history, and use as a basis for a future event. For example, if a student is studying African American history, he/she might write, 'I saw a number of African Americans coming into town before it was torn down.If the events described in the essay are accurate, then they have verified the facts of the preceding essay. On the other hand, if the events described in the fir st essay are incorrect, then they must agree with what the second essay says.Many students find the Advanced essay questions somewhat amusing, but I'm sure they are not learning anything useful. One thing I like about these questions is that the student has to be able to come up with three to five reasons to support each of the statements they make in their essay.Students who can come up with several good reasons, may be well rewarded with extra credit for demonstrating how great of an exceptional individuals. Most college students do not take the time to research these types of Expository topic and therefore fail to understand the true meaning of the subject.By taking a look at the History Extended Essay Topics, students will be able to clearly understand what the exam is all about.
